The Metanoia Program is not a shallow transformation program striving for temporary results. It will require your full commitment.
Metanoia is Greek for “a transformative change of heart; especially: a spiritual conversion.”
This is a program for those that are tired of their lifestyle habits and need a practical, actionable plan to overcome their obstacles.
Poor eating habits, inconsistent exercise routines, lack of motivation, low self-esteem, and absence of accountability has lead many of us into an unhealthy state of mind and body.
Many solutions have been proposed to counteract these obstacles: pills, quick-fix programs, boot camps, surgery, seminars, magical workout equipment, and the list goes on and on.
Change will not take place without a paradigm shift in the mind. Moreover, the paradigm shift must be fruitful enough to produce action. The transformation must be internal AND external. To achieve that it takes self-awareness to admit, humility to relearn, and perseverance to be consistent. How do we ACTUALLY accomplish this?
What is the Metanoia Program?
It is a 1 year program.
You will go through an entire year with this program. Through the birthday parties, holidays, vacations, and special occasions. There is no negotiation here on the length of the program. We are going to be right next to you for the next 365 days to restructure your mindset and lifestyle. Who is advising and holding you accountable for your lifestyle habits?
What does the program include?
Weekly consulting/accountability session (in-person at Lion or remotely through online platforms). This is where we will discuss all your obstacles.
We will discover underlying sources of your struggles. But it can’t stop there. How do we implement strategies, mindsets, and practical actions to overcome these hurdles? This isn’t therapy. This isn’t a pep talk. This is a session to identify, accept, and act.
Personalized exercise program via phone app (customized to you). Exercise is indirectly the most important aspect of the Metanoia Program. With an exercise program that is personalized to your fitness level, daily schedule, and equipment availability, you will have an app that we program your workouts through. Within the app you will have video instructions for your workouts. We will track your progress and adjust accordingly. Your workout may be 30 minutes long. Maybe your workout is just to go on a walk for 5 minutes. It is our job to find the balance between what is most efficient for you and a workout intensity that you’re going to stick to.
Nutritional behavior correction (through Precision Nutrition). Keto, Paleo, Carnivore diet, Vegetarian…. The list goes on and on. But do you plan on sticking to it forever? How do you know it is the best diet for you? Should we even be thinking of healthy eating in terms of diet? Again, how do we ACTUALLY change our eating habits? Not for a month or two. But permanently. We have to revisit our relationship with food from early on in our childhood. What were you told as a kid? To always finish your plate? Carbohydrates are the foundation of nutrition? Eat 5 meals a day to increase your metabolism? Is it quality of food or calories that should be prioritized? We will investigate and navigate through the misinformation of nutrition and diet that you personally are wandering through. We will restore your relationship with food and find the solution to your particular struggle. We also partner with a local meal prep company to provide convenience and healthy alternatives.
These three components of the program will allow Lion to:

Ingrain new habits with positive reinforcement and accountability through consulting sessions and personalized exercise program
If you want to change your lifestyle, mind, health, fitness, and aesthetics, you will not achieve what you desire without accountability. For example, if you are a 40 year old struggling with any of these, you have 40 years of bad lifestyle behavior and routine specific to a certain time of the year. We cannot expect to achieve a full lifestyle transformation with a “3 Month Boot Camp” or a fad diet.
We need to identify, admit, and replace the bad habits with good habits. And that must be done specific to your environment (physical location) and circumstances (daily schedule) in a consistent manner. That is why we need a full calendar year to accomplish a full restructuring of your lifestyle.
When holiday seasons come around, do you let yourself go? When you get stressed, do you over eat? Are you confused with all the different information that surrounds you regarding weight loss? Is your busy lifestyle so overwhelming you aren’t sure where to start? Do you hate exercising because you feel like you don’t deserve to look good? What led to that behavior/mindset? How do we undo it? How do we ACTUALLY change?
You’ve always had an excuse for the state that you’re in.
It doesn’t matter if the reason for that excuse is justified. Ultimately, we are all responsible for our own mind and body.
