We Forge Young Men
Our comprehensive fitness program for young men ages 10-18 is designed to promote healthy habits and overall well-being. Through a diverse range of exercises and activities, participants will develop strength, agility, and confidence, setting them on the path to a lifetime of active living.
Fitness For the Growing Mind & Physique
Engaging in fitness activities is highly beneficial for young men as it fosters physical strength and endurance, which can enhance their performance in various sports and daily activities. Regular exercise also promotes mental well-being by reducing stress, improving mood, and boosting self-esteem, instilling a positive outlook on life. Additionally, a fitness routine established during youth can lay the foundation for a healthier lifestyle and lower the risk of developing chronic diseases in adulthood.
Weight-Lifting
Weight lifting can be highly beneficial for young men, as it promotes healthy bone development and strengthens their muscles, providing a solid foundation for physical growth and athletic performance. The Iron Program shows them how to do it, correctly.
Weight-Loss
Teen years are a formative age for young men. It's the age in which their adult physiques are defined, and they'll fight an uphill battle to change those physiques later in life. So a healthy start with losing weight at that age can pay dividends, and the Iron Program is a highly effective way in which to do it.
Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that offers a myriad of benefits for practitioners. It cultivates mental discipline and problem-solving skills, making it a well-rounded and empowering activity for young men to release pent-up energy. That's why the Iron Program includes Jiu-Jitsu as a core activity.
Self-Defense
There's all sorts of bad information out there about self-defense techniques, and there's no population more susceptible to it than teenage men. But with the Iron Program, they learn proper technique and how best to defend themselves without causing unnecessary injuries.
Mentality Coaching
Mental health is an oft-overlooked aspect for young men, but it's important that we address it. With the Iron Program, Lion's coaches make sure to place an emphasis on the strength of the mind as well as the body.
